Hi Elwin
Fairly repeatable bug I get is in a PLC parent object, cant allocate one of the child objects. I get the message "Selected symbol is used by another logic symbol".
This isn't the case..
Any chance you could tidy up the cross reference checking to prevent this please.. ? Have gotten around it in the past by deleting all object and starting from scratch, dont want to in the instance as a few IO points..
Cheers Chris
Error 15
Re: Error 15
False alarm.. Found I had a duplicate IO point name.. Confusion is doesn't show up cross referenced in that scenario..
Re: Error 15
Yes. I know there is a bug with logic symbols (all types) moving way outside the visible area. This bug may later present itself as error message 15, which in all cases I have known is a correct message but for wrong reason.
I'm so far not able to understand why the objects move outside visible area.
From this post I have learn:
1) We need some more information with error message 15. A cross reference to the found duplicate would be easy to fix.
2) "Verify project" command should check for objects outside the visible page area.
