Resize width of project explorer.
Is this possible?
Re: Resize width of project explorer.
Yes, it's possible but not in an obvious way.
You can only edit the width when the "Project explorer" window is floating.
1) Drag on top of the "Project explorer" field (mouse icon transforms to 4 arrows) and move and drop it on the drawing field
2) Now it becomes floating and you can adjust width.
3) Drag the window back to the left position (or any other position, top, bottom or right)
If you prefer to hide the project explorer when editing, then close it with the X button in floating mode.
When you want to open a new page, then click the icon Open or menu bar Page->Open.
The buttons PageUp and PageDown will still work when Project explorer is hidden.

Re: Resize width of project explorer.
Thanks for info =)
Re: Resize width of project explorer.
We have a strange problem right now. The project explorer (that was docked on the left) maximized "by itself" (my colleague didn't do anything unusual) during opening a new blank project. We cannot drag to undock it because there's nothing else in the Elwin window but project explorer. When we close it (by unchecking it in Window menu on the menu bar) we see the drawing page and can work normally, but without project explorer. Closing the application and reopening it doesn't help.
Re: Resize width of project explorer.
That seems strange. If you shutdown Elwin, then open WinReg and search for key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Elwin\Settings\EWS\Toolbar
Above is for a 64-bit machine. Looks similar for 32-bit.
Here you will find the settings for the toolbars. The project explorer is number 1, so check and adjust:
currentDock1 = 4
dockPos1 = 0
dockRow1 = 0
floating1 = 0
floatingPosition_X1 = 56
floatingPosition_Y1 = 152
height1 = 960
visible1 = 1
width1 = 316
Now start Elwin again and it should look as normal.

Re: Resize width of project explorer.
Yes, it helped. The "width1" value was 1800 and something. Changed it to 316, now it's fine. Thanks!
